Obviously Powell isn’t getting it like our Unicorn Princess in Chief. Big surprise that he isn’t over his K00l-Aid hangover yet. But on top of that, Powell obviously missed the fact that 2/3 of Americans (yes, TWO-THIRDS aka nearly 200 million people) have been categorized as wanting LESS government spending and LESS taxes.

Riddle me this, Colin “Intellectual Titan” Powell how are Americans for more government programs when that means more spending via the government and in effect more taxes because more revenue is needed to pay for those government programs.

Can Colin Powell be stripped of his Republican membership yet? Leaving principles like less government spending that define conservatism means, GAH! you’re no longer a CONSERVATIVE!

Classic liberal debater – I’m going to avoid the debate once you’ve pointed out that I’ve backed myself into a corner and trapped myself into being proven wrong because I purposed an argument that was based neither in fact nor logic.

Just for the record, I’ve seen part of the planning with the Tea Party here in Chicago and was at the first one – there is nothing about the media funding this outside of showing up to report on it. All of the planning is based on individual citizens devoting their voluntary time to getting this message out. I know the liberal media cannot understand this CRAZY thought of people doing things on their own – especially when they support a party that believes in a creating a nanny state because they believe government (and a corrupt one at that) not individuals can do what’s best for the country. Pfffffffffffffffffff. Okay, nutroots.

(via HotAir) For the answers among the young adult crowd, well, after reading this I was shocked. Then I remembered this was also a generation that was willing to vote for a candidate because of his American-Idol-style “inspiration” versus researching the guy’s actual voting record and history of  na-nah-nah-na-”I Won!”-partisanship. Who can be bothered with common sense, when you’re a part of the soul patrol – Woooohooo, Soul Patrol!

Adults under 30 are essentially evenly divided: 37% prefer capitalism, 33% socialism, and 30% are undecided. Thirty-somethings are a bit more supportive of the free-enterprise approach with 49% for capitalism and 26% for socialism. Adults over 40 strongly favor capitalism, and just 13% of those older Americans believe socialism is better…

33% PREFER Socialism?!?!??  Fucking. Embarrassing.

Honestly, do my fellow young adults even know what socialism is? Umm, no. And the reason I know this is because I see this stupidity on a daily basis on Facebook. How very 2009!  Anytrend, it’s a real shame these young voters do not understand that socialism is also the ideology of the world’s misunderstood humanitarians (rolls eyes) – the Nazi Party. And let’s not forget Soviet Russia – what, because these people didn’t live through it then it’s okay for them to have forgotten all about it. Umm, open up a history book, biyatches! I know people will argue that  Communism is not Socialism, but let’s be real the two are like kissing cousins – denying relations in public, but each other’s biggest fans when nobody’s looking.

It’s like young adults in this country just see socialism as the teach-the-world-to-sing philosophy. Geez, that’s an ad campaign slogan, not a realistic solution to providing economic opportunity and growth. Cue quote from my dad when encountering the types of oblivious idiots – “What. A. Bunch. Of. Nerds!”

They don’t see the reality of reduced inefficiency in programs, massive tax burdens, lowered economic freedoms/opportunities and the lovely bread lines (aka liberls’ ready-to-mingle singles mixer hosted by President “Spread The Wealth” Obama). They are convinced (by the biased liberal media & fake news programs *cough*Daily Show *cough*) that socialism is a “togetherness, strong help the weak” policy. But in reality socialism is not everybody is united in wealth, and instead is all of us under a cloud of oppressive policies that keep more people in the poorhouse than under a capitalistic economy.

Hopefully these people will wake up and not wait until the massive tax burden, but I don’t know if their Hope ‘n Change, kool-aid stupors will be wearing off anytime soon.

Honestly, this encounter between Hitchens and Mr. Def is like a typical debate with any liberal. I love how Hitchens asks/counters “Let’s see some evidence of that” and Mos Def doesn’t have anything to back it up. Big freakin’ surprise. His defense is he doesn’t believe the media, doesn’t believe two superior intellectuals (at least compared to Maher and Mos Def) on the topic of Al-Qaeda, and in fact states he doesn’t trust much of anything to believe anything about Al-Qaeda (HUH??? Exactly).  BUT yet he’s then ”educated” enough to argue that he can make an authoritative statement in that the promoted reputation of Al-Qaeda’s motivation is questionable. Then when others point out how RIDICULOUS he sounds, he rebuttals with ”he’s got the right to feel the way he does.”

I can’t stand that argument. One time a liberal tried to defend stomping and burning on the flag but said people shouldn’t be held accountable for it. Please, this is typical American spoiled-brat syndrome. “I’ve got the right to say whatever I want or feel whatever I want, but don’t have to suffer any consequences for my actions.” Yeah, you do (unfortunately – LOL) have the right to run yo’ mouffffff, but that right comes with the price of the rest of us being able to call you out on your craziness.  I’m not saying people don’t have a right to question things, but bring an educated position to the table first. Don’t be a rambling idiot who has refused to open their eyes to getting education on the issues and then expect political intellectuals to take you seriously just for the sake of taking you seriously.

Well, one thing I left out was that earlier in the evening she relentlessly bragged about her stalking Beyonce over Twitter. Yes, she clearly has no life. Butanypsycho, I just read this article about how fans of Beyonce are more dumb than fans of a more classical genre such as Beethoven.

Okay, so Obama has been going out to the folks (imagine me saying “TO THE FOLKS” in my best preacher voice) to spread the fear about what would happen if the stimulus wouldn’t get passed. Ignore the fact that the economy would work itself out on its own after cutting back some or that tax cuts would do the economy wonders. Don’t think about those realistic scenarios. We need to get back to speaking in vague, . Plus, people need their free shit now, Obama! I mean we’ve got promises to keep, remember???

So Obama got the revival started up again in Florida (via Michelle Malkin). The first is Julio – college student, works at McDonalds, communications major with very odd speaking voice that plans to make it in radio (self-delusional doesn’t even begin to describe it). When Obama asks if Julio has healthcare, Julio somehow forgets that paying tuition at college gives him healthcare already. But the govt. is going to give him unnecessary assistance, so, Praise Obama!!! Oh, and Julio forgets that he is not the ONLY college student who works while going to school to pay the bills like rent, food, beer. Somehow millions of other college students can survive, but Julio needs the Messiah to come down and saaaaaaaaaave him from this terrible situation. You know that “terrible” situation where he has the opportunity to actually work AND go to college. I mean, it’s soooooo unfair. The government should have just automatically made him a millionaire on his 18th birthday. Good grief.

Anydelusion, here’s my shoutout to Julio – I worked three jobs and went to school full-time during my college years. And the only handout I ever got was a student loan, which I’m currently paying back now with interest. I didn’t need a free lunch at the expense of someone else’s income through taxes.

Now, the revival keeps going, folks. Can’t stop the Kool-Aid flowing euphoria because Henrietta needs a house. I mean it’s everybody’s right to have a house in the U.S., right? Ummm, WRONG. It is not a constitutional right to own a home in the U.S. You have to earn it – through keeping good credit, through earning income, through going to school (and doing well in school) so that you can gain employment to earn that income. I know, such hard mandates that every other citizen can abide by except poor Henrietta – I’m sure it’s just that she is a “victim” of choices SHE has made in her life.

Here’s my counter to these stupid people. When my company lays me off because they have that much more to collect in taxes to buy Henrietta a home or handout Julio double the amount of healthcare, does that mean I can come crash out Henrietta’s place? Can Julio pay for my healthcare since I won’t have insurance anymore (being unemployed) and he’ll have two times more than me (from his school & the govt.)?

People should think twice before just turning to government blindly for handouts because the money has to come from somewhere – taxes from your friend, family member, boss or neighbor. If it’s a crime for you to steal money from them, why support the government doing the dirty work then?

I’m not saying I don’t feel for these people. Life sucks. It’s hard and we work hard for what in the end seems so little. But that’s life – it’s not fair. But that doesn’t mean we should force the government to take money from hard-working citizens because you or I cannot face adversity in our lives. What doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger. So pick yourself up and keep working toward that better tomorrow. It may be cheesy, but guess what it’s true. You’ll get there, but it just takes times. Some of the greatest successes in history happened only AFTER the greatest failures.
