Let me be frank—I am angry. I am angry and frustrated, in a way I haven’t been in a long time. During the election, I remember the biggest fear I had about an Obama presidency was his lack of experience in foreign policy and specifically with the military….As the fighting in Afghanistan continues to escalate, I can’t help but believe that soldiers are being left behind both by this administration and the media. The media has seemingly lost interest in these wars and doesn’t give them the proper coverage they deserve. On the same day CNN was producing news breaks about my cleavage in a Twitter picture, 14 soldiers had just died in Afghanistan. As Obama stalls and hesitates to make decisions, these soldiers in Afghanistan are not being given the support they need. General Stanley McChrystal and other military leaders have asked for an additional 40,000 troops to expand the fighting in Afghanistan. And this Tuesday, President Obama will lay out his plans for the region.

Seriously, I don’t know how many times in 2008 I brought up Obama’s inexperience with military affairs and that in the end our soldiers would be the ones to suffer the most from it. I don’t want to be an oracle, but seriously, what the F*CK is taking this guy so long to make a decision on troop levels????

For a person who said this:

Obama now looks like Carl Spackler in his decision making process to pertinent military affairs in a war that is “the central front on terrorism.”  And what’s sad is that I’m not joking, this is “actual footage” from the Oval Office (heh).

Wait, maybe I’m being to harsh. Pfffffff. No, how about some leader (I’m not naming names!) get a clue that playing golf is NOT a higher priority than talking to your generals in the middle of a war zone.

The gopher from Caddyshack is probably a better commander-in-chief than this guy. At least it knows how to maneuver around its enemy with quick-on-its-feet decision making AND still has time to bust some sweet moves to some Kenny Loggins.

But you know what, I’m sure SOME WAY, SOME HOW his less-than-mediocrity of making a @#$@#$!@##!@ decision in regards to troop levels is Bush’s fault. And for those of us who dare disagree with his decision process (like pointing out his inexperience is really to blame) we’ll all be labeled racists and fascists by the likes of MS-NBC.

So, fast-forward to my NON-surprise when President Unicorn Princess can’t seem to get standard world leadership customs right.  I’m sure his kool-aid devotees will channel this up to something like CHANGE! but I have a incline it’s due more to that thing called inexperience I vocalized to their ‘cultured” appellations.

Quit with the fear tactics and negative campaigning already. Either this is the new era of bi-partisanship or it’s an all out partisan propaganda machine with its sights set on 2012?  If you’re going to be President, here’s a thought:

ACT PRESIDENTIAL!!!!

No matter who’s in the big house, you’re always going to have citizens disagreeing with you. But your job as the HBIC (head biaytch in charge) is to stay above the mudslinging yet acknowledge the opposition’s perspective without resorting to petty name calling and taunting.

But keep up the good work, Captain Kool-Aid! As Sarah noted our President is out of touch and probably just doesn’t get it. Although I’d argue that he gets it.  He just doesn’t give a flying f*ck all the while failing at a nonhumorous attempt to belittle the pushback of those silly, silly concerned citizens. At the end of the day he’s a true blue ambition politician (gotz to hussle fo’ them votes!) and the most liberal one at that. This is a guy who ran one of the most fear/guilt-baited political campaigns of all time, so I’m not one bit surprised he’s acting like a bully on the playground. He never has had experience being in an executive position where you have to suffer the backlash of making difficult decisions that everyone may not like. This came up many times throughout the election, all the while liberals falling in line to scream to us that experience didn’t matter.  But (In my best Ace Ventura’s voice) reh-reh-reeeeallly, who neeeeeeeeeeeds a president that has the qualities of an executive who can maturely handle the backlash after making decisions that are partisan. (eyes ROLLIN’)

Obama’s attitude reminds me of this joke I once heard. From the time you’re born up until 5 you’re just at home – everybody loves you and you’re the coolest kid around. Then when you reach 5, you actually go to school and suddenly people hate you, push you around, steal your lunchbox and make you cry. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! I know, this whole maturity thing is soooo rough. The only thing that causes liberals to get a backbone is the threat of having to actually get one.

Hey, Unicorn Princess – Grow. Up. You wanted the job. So start acting like a President and learn to take the good with the bad.

What, did the teleprompter not get an invite to The Tonight Show?  Talk about leaving the little people behind. All relying on them when you can’t hold yourself up at important events like at a White House press conferences, press tours, or townhalls with THE FOLKS. But then when it’s time to be Pop Idol President and yucking it up with Leno, the story now changes to ”oh, uh, sorry Tele…we just don’t have room for you in the limo. Next time though – promise!”

Go ahead and say it–people make references like this all the time.  Yep.  Sure do.  But–none of those people are the PRESIDENT. 

Whew…we sooo missed the bullet when that “hick” of a Governor out of Alaska was not elected into the seat that’s a heartbeat away from the presidency. I mean she CLEARLY can’t talk like a edumacated leader, right?

So the other day Obama’s teleprompter addiction caused another snafu. Surprised? Honestly, this Hollywood-staged administration keeps getting better every week. They seem more concerned with their PR strategy than actually doing what the executive branch is supposed to do. I can’t WAIT for the tell-all books that are bound to come out starting around 2010.

Irish Prime Minister Brian Cowen was just a few paragraphs into an address at a St. Patrick’s Day celebration at the White House when he realized something sounded way too familiar. Turns out, he was repeating the speech President Barack Obama had just given.

Things are good though, Obama’s teleprompter has released its official statement:

Well, last night didn’t go well. What can I say? I was tired. By the time Barack and the Irish PM stood up, the President and I had already done two major policy speeches, three nomination announcements, and light dinner banter for a table of twelve. And by the way, that “ad lib” last night about Guinness? Mine.

You all know this is just the teleprompter getting some jilted-employee revenge, right? I mean, girlfriend is sooooo obvious.

Yeah, kind of how I feel about this current President.  Trying To Grok has a great recap from one of Obama’s colleagues at the Harvard Law Review. The same Law Review that so many Obamanaiacs bragged about when citing reasons the Kool-Aid man should be president. I didn’t buy it then and now am certainly enjoying the validation in not believing the hype.

[W]hen he was at the HLR you did get a very distinct sense that he was the kind of guy who much more interested in being the president of the Review, than he was in doing anything as president of the Review.  A lot of the time he quote/unquote “worked from home”, which was sort of a shorthand – and people would say it sort of wryly – shorthand for not really doing much. He just wasn’t around. Most of the day to day work was carried out by the managing editor of the Review, my predecessor, a great guy called Tom Pirelli whose actually going to be one of the assistant attorney generals now.  He’s the one who did most of the day to day work. Barack Obama was nowhere to be seen. Occasionally he would drop in he would talk to people, and then he’d leave again as though his very arrival had been a benediction in and of itself, but not very much got done.

Honestly, this teleprompter addiction is getting out of control. Now it’s being used at press conferences??? How can anyone say this guy is a great communicator when he can’t even speak on his own. As a friend would quote Dog The Bounty Hunter, “Lay off the meth, brutha! Lay off the meth!”

Wwll, I guess the “stellar” fact checking team of the new administration keeps getting better and better because now he’s confusing the U.S. with Germany. (via Black & Right)

President Obama’s speech to Congress last night might have emphasized urgency over historical accuracy when he stated, “And I believe the nation that invented the automobile cannot walk away from it.”  Many inventors contributed to the rise of the car in modern-day life. But the U.S. Library of Congress credits German inventor Karl Benz with creating the first true automobile that ran on an internal combustion engine.

Eh, and people would quip about how Bush pronounced nuclear. Yeah, because a President’s articulation of certain words is WAAAAAAAAAAY more important than actually getting their facts straight about the country they represent.

Bobby Jindal (R-LA) shows us again what a fiscally-responsible and experienced political leaders looks like. He speaks in an informed manner using facts and logical justifications for making the decisions he did as a representative of his state’s citizens. He didn’t revert (like a certain President) to the tired old tactics of explaining his principles through elaborate, unsubstantial paraphrases that, when they haven’t manipulated people’s common sense, end on the note of “Look, folks, we know what we’re doing. I mean we’ve got the ‘best economists’ around. Just believe in what we say not in our actions.”

Like they said on HotAir, is it 2012 yet?  I’m totally going to order my Jindal supporter shirt.

TAPPER: I’m not questioning that, but it seems to me like there’s some sort of disconnect between the president urging constituents to lobby their congressmen. This has been one of the problems that’s –

GIBBS: I can’t speak to — I can’t speak to what the — what the congressman said or saw from different employees, because I didn’t hang out with them yesterday. I can simply speak to the benefits that economists that aren’t affiliated with this White House say the bill will do. Maybe some of those guys should call him, too.

Gees, Gibbs can’t speak to anything if you look at him exchanges with the press. Answer questions you buffoon – you’re the press secretary for a reason! This isn’t by far the first time.
