Well, at least according to PerezHilton (via the National Enquirer who first broke the Edwards affair even though he denied that too).
You don’t know how many times I heard from liberals at work about how “wrong” I was that John was a silky, new baby daddy. I had it wrong because “the National Enquirer was wrong” (even though they had photographic evidence showing him hanging out late at night in hotel rooms with baby and baby mama), or that “the media is just trying to smear him.” Yes, the very liberal media is trying to smear him – ignore the fact that his mistress has financial records of hush money and that the guy thinks he is JFK (literally, minus the attractive mistress).
Vindication is imminent (twirling faux silent-movie-evil-guy-type mustache).
