blind_liberalWhy is it that liberals tend to look at things with blinders on? I honestly don’t get that. It’s like they forget that every action will have a reaction. Cause AND Effect.

So color me SHOCKED when Wal-Mart refused to carry Green Day’s latest album and then being the card-carrying liberal pansies they are, Green Day cried foul about it. (via Big Hollywood)

Wal-Mart won’t carry their new CD, entitled 21st Century Breakdown, unless they provide a special version that doesn’t contain language considered offensive by the retail giant.

Boo-Hoo!

It seems that Green Day missed the memo on private businesses being able to do whatever they want within the scope of what their shareholders and/or customers approve of. If Green Day doesn’t want to produce a separate album with the offensive language then they don’t have to sell it through Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart’s private enterprise decisions are not bound by the freedom of speech. Wal-Mart has its business freedom to CHOOSE whether or not to distribute that product. Green Day has the right to CHOOSE to produce their album filled with colorful lyrics. Both are decisions made by the owners, but neither is obligated to consider how directly connected their respective freedoms are by said decisions.

That’s the beauty of a republic that some liberals are not understanding. The government cannot dictate to a private business what products they choose or not choose to sell. I know there are times where it becomes a matter of public health and/or welfare, so the government steps in with regulations. But last time I checked, choosing to not endorse offensive language for a profit doesn’t seem to be endangering anyone’s well being.

But bassist Mike Dirnt said: “As the biggest record store in America, they should probably have an obligation to sell people the correct art.”

Why should Wal-Mart carry your record as is – WHY? Because you produced some “art.” Because you’re THE band Green Day. LMFAO!!! God, liberals are so full of themselves.

And really, is this surprising? Doesn’t Mike Dirnt know that this is a long standing policy with the giant retailer. Sheryl Crow anyone? Wal-Mart refused to carry her album because in one of the songs on the album she made a negative-slanted smirk about buying a gun at Wal-Mart. Newsflash – it’s called the game of business. You don’t bring the power to trump the HBIC’s rules – then guess what you either suck it up to play by their rules or leave.  That’s called life.  I know you missed out on that lesson because your nambi bambi parents were too busy shuffling you to a game of little league where they didn’t keep score – because EVERYONE’s a WINNER! – but this is how the real world works.

Enough with these trolls, as if they actually contribute something to the advancement of society. NEXT! (And don’t let Billie Joe’s bucket of eye liner hit you on the way out!)
