I spoze Bama meant that we'd export the green technology, like solar panels, if it can ever be produced and used economically (not in our lifetimes). But even there he's wrong--the magical widgets will probably be made in China. So actually China's gonna be "the world's leading exporter of clean energy".

What's so infuriating about this is that our energy needs are outstripping our capacity. We need to be building power plants that actually produce power, but instead we're going to waste years and a trillion or so dollars pursuing green fantasies.

"This cracks me up. President Bush is lambasted by liberals when he refused to sign onto the Kyoto Treaty"

This cracks me up as well, for a different reason- The Senate is actually the branch of government which ratifies treaties. In this particular instance it failed 95-0.

But....since when have liberals ever read the Constitution?

[...] Un-Liberaled Woman added an interesting post on Exporter of Clean Energy???Here’s a small excerptCouldn’t say it better myself, Mr. Washington. This past weekend on our road trip back to Peoria, IL, my husband and I were discussing Barack Obama’s plans to make the US: “The GREATEST Exporter of clean energy in the WOOOOOOOORLD!” Okay, he didn’t really say it “exactly” like that, but you get the idea.
