Hell hath no fury like a former liberal woman.
And apparently, I’m not the only one. (via HotAir)
Andrew Malcolm notices an interesting result from the latest CNN poll, one which CNN itself hesitates to note. Since going on the offensive against a popular new president, former VP Dick Cheney has improved his favorability rating, and perhaps that of his former boss as well.
His speech at the American Enterprise Institute is probably 3 years overdue, but still better late then never.
Here is the first video (more after the jump), and a link to the transcript on my Facebook page. The best way to experience it is by listening to the video while reading the transcript.
Best quote by far:
Our government prevented attacks and saved lives through the Terrorist Surveillance Program, which let us intercept calls and track contacts between al-Qaida and persons inside the United States. The program was top secret, and for good reason, until the editors of the New York Times got it and put it on the front page.
Daaaaaaaaaaaayum! Somebody’s getting called out like a mofo! I say – Go, Cheney, Go!
It’s about time people listen up to what was actually going on with terrorists and why theses measures were put in place. I work six blocks from the Sears Tower. I’d like to keep working and stay alive. If that means some terrorist serial killer gets a the equivalent of 80 swirlies in one month, then yes, so be it. I have this thing I like to do called living. Or as Matthew McConaughey would say – L.I.V.I.N.
You may say that makes me encouraging the US degrading its moral standing in the world (eyes rolling!) but to that I say you cherish a terrorists comfort over mine and other American citizen’s right to life. I can see the need for intellectual debate about torture, but first let’s see some actual torturing taking place by the hands of the US. Yes, if starvation, electrocution, beheadings, or abuse that resulted in permanent physical anguish is being done then we’d have something to talk about. But the Paris-Hilton-jail treatment is not worth my time debating.
The ranting and raving of a woman formally brainwashed under the liberal agenda. Through investigation, commentary and sarcasm about government, this woman is breaking free of the hypocritical liberal party that tries to manipulate women into believing only they can represent women’s rights. Get informed, get free, get Un-Liberaled! This blog does not endorse any particular candidate or party - although if I did, I most likely wouldn’t endorse a liberal candidate. For instance, Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) or as I like to call her Smancy Pelotox would not get my vote. Comprende? Good. Hope you enjoy the rants! :)

I heart Cheney. I have found myself wondering why we didn’t hear more from him in the past eight years…
