Hell hath no fury like a former liberal woman.
Have you ever seen some dumb-dumb celebrity or “hipster” wearing a shirt similar to the one here to the left? Yeah, I used to wonder who that was on the shirt. I used to think “oh that person must be so cool, admired and revolutionary if they are on a shirt.” Yeah, and I also used think that acting like a drunken fool was how to get people to respect you – eh, everyone’s 21 at some point.
Anytweedledumb, for those of you who may not know the person located on this shirt, his name is Che Guevara – “revolutionist” who was a mass murderer, torturer and oppressor of his own people.
These T-shirts send a message, which effectively boils down to this: I have vague left-wing sympathies but don’t read history. I am educated enough to want nonconformity but not intelligent enough to avoid conformity. I believe in supporting the wretched of the earth but happily purchase products from multinational corporations.
Yes, that’s correct – the far lefts HATE President Bush and call him a war monger without any evidence to back it up, BUT they idolize a murdering communist because his face looks cool on a red tshirt. Can you feeeeeeel the hypocrisy???
I saw on Trying To Grok an interesting article about how fanatics are too quick to jump on the bandwagon (big surprise) before really taking just one freakin’ minute to understand what it is they are paying tribute to by wearing such paraphernalia (Pointing a big foam finger at Cameron Diaz right now).
If you believe in the freedom of the press, the right to belong to a political party of your choice, the due process of law, and/or private property, then Che Guevara was a monster, plain and simple.
I mean this is like someone going around with a picture of Charlie Manson or Adolf Hitler adorning their chest. Good grief, people, get a fucking clue. I totally get it now when the older generation looks down on the younger generation and can only shake their heads in disappointment. I’m officially grizzled. Who knew it would happen at 30???
Reading further into the article turns out these far-left “hipsters” are not necessarily evil in that they LOVE to oppress the folks into bread lines but that they just are part of another ideology – stupidity. Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? Are you telling me my girl Cam isn’t a member of the Common Sense Club???? Say it ain’t so, giiiiiiiiiiirlfriend!
Cameron Diaz is not, of course, a communist. She’s a ditz — that’s her ideology. Her Mao bag was tasteless, not evil.
Well, there you have it folks. Far-lefts tend to be idiots when it comes to picking out idols to admire. And yet they wonder why in the world we aren’t quick to jump on the kool-aid bar car when it comes to taking economic policy advice from their Messiah.
Also, if you are on Facebook don’t forget to join the new group – Che Guevara Was a Murderer and You’re T-Shirt Is Not Cool
The ranting and raving of a woman formally brainwashed under the liberal agenda. Through investigation, commentary and sarcasm about government, this woman is breaking free of the hypocritical liberal party that tries to manipulate women into believing only they can represent women’s rights. Get informed, get free, get Un-Liberaled! This blog does not endorse any particular candidate or party - although if I did, I most likely wouldn’t endorse a liberal candidate. For instance, Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) or as I like to call her Smancy Pelotox would not get my vote. Comprende? Good. Hope you enjoy the rants! :)

Diaz’ bag says “為人民服務” (serve the people). Which she does … yeah, right. I suppose she could’ve defended herself by saying, “But … there’s nothing Communist about service!” (Remember Obama’s “Universal Voluntary Public Service”?: http://www.barackobama.com/issues/service/)
Interestingly, “為人民服務” is in prerevolutionary characters. Under Mao, that was simplified to “为人民服务”. I guess the calligrapher thought the older characters were prettier. Both the USSR and PRC underwent writing system reforms. Is the USSA next?

I think this is an unfair assessment. I have a shirt with a picture of El Che on it. I got it here:
http://www.thoseshirts.com/checap.html
I think it is pretty cool and I did do the research before I bought it. I feel like I am being lumped into a group of people that you are calling idiots when I did know exactly what I was doing when I bought it. Oh and I didn’t buy it from a major corporation. Just a small business trying to make it in this country.
Sorry, I’m just learning about this new thing called sarcasm. I need to practice because I never really new what it was before.
