Hell hath no fury like a former liberal woman.
One of the biggest problems I have about people who speak out against the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan is that they turn a blind eye to how many of the oppressive, jihadist-based regimes in these countries treat the rights or really lack of rights for women. If there is nothing else, I think the US’s efforts are justified in the fact that we are giving the women in these societies a chance at a life with actual basic human rights. Like being able to leave the house whenever you choose or being treated as if your only purpose in life is a beaten-down concubine. So anytime I hear some democracy-guilted liberal whining about how we should be sympathetic, or that these people are really peaceful, or even that they are just acting this way because of our presence there – I honestly have to gather my strength and keep myself from not LMFAO right in their face.
I dated a guy from Israel once, and although that relationship did not last I do believe I was meant to date him because had it not been for him I would not have had my eyes opened to how many Muslim-extremists in the Middle East actually behave when a CNN camera is not present. I mean he had loads of these truth-revealing documents and videos. Which brings me to today lesson on why jihadists deserve no sympathy, courtesy of Jihadist Joe: How to Properly Beat Your DisobedientWife (via AtlasShrugs). In this case disobedience means leaving the house or giving your husband an opinion he doesn’t agree with. Toooooooooooooolerance!!!!
I know these regimes were typically based in religion and people say we should let religion be. I get that, but it doesn’t make it right. If that was happening in our country it would make the national news. People outcry over when polygamists marry young girls but then also turn around and say we have no business helping women in other countries. While we cannot change religious-extremists overnight we should at least support our troops who are doing what they can to install a stable government that is trying to create a society where at least many of these women can have a chance, just one chance to not be oppressed for the rest of their lives. What I don’t get though is when liberal politicians get up and talk about being the party of women’s rights but then turn around and defend creeps like this. Just some food for thought.
The ranting and raving of a woman formally brainwashed under the liberal agenda. Through investigation, commentary and sarcasm about government, this woman is breaking free of the hypocritical liberal party that tries to manipulate women into believing only they can represent women’s rights. Get informed, get free, get Un-Liberaled! This blog does not endorse any particular candidate or party - although if I did, I most likely wouldn’t endorse a liberal candidate. For instance, Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) or as I like to call her Smancy Pelotox would not get my vote. Comprende? Good. Hope you enjoy the rants! :)

I just finished the book The Bookseller of Kabul, written by a Norwegian lady who lived with an Afghan family for three months. It was depressing. The women’s stories were so sad. (But a good book, I recommend it. I also recommend The Places In Between for reading about life in Afghanistan.)
