Hell hath no fury like a former liberal woman.
I have to wonder if this will be the rally cry of the next generation?
From Wikipedia on the “no taxation without representation” history
No taxation without representation” began as a slogan in the period 1763–1776 that summarized a primary grievance of the British colonists in the Thirteen Colonies. In short, many in those colonies believed the lack of direct representation in the distant British Parliament was an illegal denial of their rights as Englishmen, and therefore laws taxing the colonists (the kind of law that affects the most individuals directly), and other laws applying only to the colonies, were unconstitutional.
Sounds about right – if it is unconstitutional to tax citizens without giving them direct representation in government, how come it IS constitutional to give direct representation to citizens who not only do not pay any taxes but also live off of the increased taxation on those citizens who DO pay taxes? There’s an interesting question to mull over.
Couple of pics from the protests against the porkulus (via Black & Right and Michelle Malkin)…this first pic relates to this topic.
To the lady callin’ out my girl Henrietta – Ain’t that the truffffffffffffffff!
A friend told me that she felt if you didn’t pay taxes then your right to vote should not be allowed. I totally get her sentiment – contribute to pool and you shall be allowed to swim like everyone else basically. Everyone can pay SOME tax. Unfortunately, some may pay more than others under our punishing income tax system, but nobody should be excused from any. And further more if people are excused from paying income tax they shouldn’t even be qualifying for a credit or refund of any kind. People should not be paid to live in the U.S. by the government while they refuse to get out there and work like the rest of us.
And BY far this was the best photo out of the protests:
The ranting and raving of a woman formally brainwashed under the liberal agenda. Through investigation, commentary and sarcasm about government, this woman is breaking free of the hypocritical liberal party that tries to manipulate women into believing only they can represent women’s rights. Get informed, get free, get Un-Liberaled! This blog does not endorse any particular candidate or party - although if I did, I most likely wouldn’t endorse a liberal candidate. For instance, Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) or as I like to call her Smancy Pelotox would not get my vote. Comprende? Good. Hope you enjoy the rants! :)

No representation without taxation!!! Sounds good to me. I don’t recall who it was who said that a democracy will last only as long as the people do not get the idea that they can vote themselves benefits. Obama and the liberals have tapped into this. They have found a “rock star” type guy, and are using him to “change” this wonderful country into a place where a majority can live off a productive minority. At some point the Golden Goose will be dead as a rampaging chimpanzee.

The Tax Policy Center now estimates that after taking the tax breaks for which they’re eligible, 47% of 134M or 63M of tax-filing households will have no federal income tax liability this year. Assuming that 25% of our 300M population are children, there are 225M people of voting age.
There’s only 71M of 225M people in the U.S. paying income taxes or 154M non-tax payers
No wonder the liberals are taking over. We are outnumbered 2 to 1.
What chance does 71M tax payers have against 154M non-tax payers?
Non-tax-payers will always vote for free-stuff/tax increases because it does not affect them.
I say, “No representation, without taxation!”
How can someone vote to raise my taxes if they pay none themselves?
