Un-Liberaled Woman

I’m always suspect of people who too easily buy into mob mentality. It’s like you’re setting yourself up for a big letdown. The more blindly you go into something building up unreasonable expectations, the harder you fall when you’re let down (or in the case of our recent presidency) shown a glimpse of reality. But I could go on for days about the disappointment in my fellow citizens treating the 2008 election like the finale episode of American Idol.

That said, what would be worse – dealing with a massive hysterical breakdowns of epic proportions OR living through 4 years of depressing, ill-conceived political policy only to hopefully comeback in 2012 and ring the big I TOLD YOU SO bell.  I honestly don’t know what would be worse. But if I had to guess, this video (Ashley Judd, is this you???) probably illustrates how an Obamamaniac would have reacted had McCain/Palin been declared victor instead of the current TOTUS.

(sidenote: Apparently this is a kid who’s recently gotten his World of WarCRACK subscription revoked by good ol’ mom; Don’t know if it’s fake or not, but like that’s important. This is my morning entertainment that’s as vital as coffee.)
