Loews Lincoln SquareSo this week Ron Silver passed away (RIP, Ron!). While many may know him as tennis player Bobby Riggs in the movie that featured the only time Billie Jean King looked feminine. (Oops! Did I say that?), Ron was also a well-know liberal from Hollywood for years. Until that “little” thing 9/11 happened. Yeah, that “incident” which America’s Sweetheart Michael Moore tries to pretend didn’t really happen. Soon after 9/11, Ron became a conservative advocate and an avid supporter of President Bush.

So upon hearing the sad news about Ron, many reflections were out in cyberspace. Many of these reflection pieces brought up some of the great work Ron has done over the last eight years. This is what’s interesting about those of us who become unliberaled. The left trains us to be these loud-mouthed and pursuit-of-the-truth type of fanatics. But by looking for the truth we actually turn into their worst nightmare. Now we play for the other team but we’re just as if not more loud when we were on the left. Umm, the truth DOES hurt.

Anyliberation, this week I’ve looked into some of the work Ron has done over the years. First, I’ve watched FarenHYPE 9/11 – the real documentary to Michael Moore’s propaganda, smear-ridden film Fahrenheit 9/11. Ron provides content, but also narrates the documentary. I mean I knew Michael was full of lies and fried twinkies, but this film is honestly so depressing in the sense that millions and millions of people believe the very lies in this film and refuse to get educated.

You can watch the film for free on YouTube – there are 8 parts total at around 9-10 minutes for each part. Below are, what I think, two of the most mind blowing segments of the film. Although the entire thing is a powerful piece for a documentary. I still to this day cannot get over Michael Moore’s “there are no terrorists” comment.

[side mention -Also, kudos to Dick Morris for going against party to speak up the truth. I'm not saying Morris is a saint, but for him to have come out like he has in the public after being one of Clinton's guys has to take umm, what's the word - oh yeah - COJONES! Morris is right - It's about the facts!]

And the other film I’m going to check out is Ron’s Broken Promises: The United Nations at 60. I’m sure this will provide some great insight the next time I go on Facebook debating how the UN is worthless. Because the Oil for Food scandal just didn’t do it in some liberals’ eyes (rolling my own eyes).

God bless, Ron. I hope he’s have a great time in heaven. He and his voice will surely be missed. Thanks again for helping to provide perspective to the truth in this vital issue of national security and 9/11. Our world is for the better because of the work you did.
