I didn’t say these types of cuisine are strictly across all geographic regions, races and people as solely referred to “soul food” but in many of the black families I know (both northern and southern as I noted in the post) DO refer to it as soul food. “Get real” right back at you.

I am a white, Southern male. I assure you that my family like most of the “white folks” in the South cooked and ate the same dishes. This is not “Soul Food”. It’s normal Southern cooking. Get real.
