One of Obama’s ‘best economists around’ his chief economic advisor Lawrence Summers FELL ASLEEP during yesterday’s fiscal responsibility summit. Yes, I said FELL ASLEEP at the summit that Barry himself hosted.

The new era of change indeed. Here’s also some hilarious but common sense quips about Barry’s attack on those real leaders who are not taking the porkulus blindfolded while OINK!ing to the One with delight (via Political Crave).

Obama also stated that just because a few GOP Governors don’t like 2% of the bill doesn’t mean that they shouldn’t do what is right for the American People. WELL, I GOT A QUESTION OR THREE:

• Would you suggest that I not meet with someone who hits me in the face 2 out of every 100 times I come face to face with them?
• Should I do business with a bank who short changes me $2 out of every $100 of my money?
• Should I drink a glass of water that has only 2% arsenic in it?

You inherit a few trillion in debt and the path to being fiscal responsibly to cut that debt in half is to propose spending another $2 trillion not even 30 days into office. Hmmmmm….And everyone gets a unicorn by 2012 too!  (Image source – www.obamacorn.com)

Here’s the latest round of the Tapper/Gibbs sideshow.

TAPPER: I’m not questioning that, but it seems to me like there’s some sort of disconnect between the president urging constituents to lobby their congressmen. This has been one of the problems that’s –

GIBBS: I can’t speak to — I can’t speak to what the — what the congressman said or saw from different employees, because I didn’t hang out with them yesterday. I can simply speak to the benefits that economists that aren’t affiliated with this White House say the bill will do. Maybe some of those guys should call him, too.

Gees, Gibbs can’t speak to anything if you look at him exchanges with the press. Answer questions you buffoon – you’re the press secretary for a reason! This isn’t by far the first time.

On November 5th one of my Facebook friends and drunk-on-koolaid-Obamamanic tried to scold me “Why don’t you give Obama a break? You keep criticizing him like he’s the next Jimmy Carter.” Ummm, that’s because he is the next Jimmy Carter.  It was lovely how he just assumed I hadn’t been researching the candidate and his policies for the entire previous year. I formed my vote by looking at Obama’spolicies and track record in the Senate and Illinois state legislature.  Not sure if my FB friend did the same despite his claims.

So imagine my “surprise” when people are starting to not be thrilled with the way Barry’s administration has been going. Oh?? Are you telling me that historic (yet, uninformed and based more on a self-esteem need to feel like you’re a part of making history to trick your mind into thinking that’s the way to give your life meaning) vote no longer is giving you that warm, fuzzy feeling inside.  hmmmm…

But look at the media now. After 2 years of serving more like a PR firm instead of objective journalists *cough*CNN*cough* they are starting to give Barry’s administration the questionable stink eye at some of the latest developments. You know like pushing out of control spending, supporting failed economic policies, appointing criminals to the cabinet, whining about having to working on a PC, hiring lobbyists despite campaign sermons about changing Washington, possible involvment in selling a Senate seat, and you know not being the most transparent govt. as they said they would be.  Just a few things. Oh but there’s even more.

Dude, and I’m not even doing anything to skew the perception of the behavior of this administration. They’re doing just fine on their own screwing things up in the name of Hope ‘n Change. – Via the Corner from TryingtoGrok.com. I think now I know what shooting fish in a barrel must feel like.

Today, Tom Daschle – former HHS secretary appointment & TAX CHEAT – withdrew his name from nomination (HotAir.com has the ongoing updates).  And who said miracles don’t happen!

I don’t think Daschle is a bad guy, but if I’m being honest this is one step closer to getting away from national healthcare. National healthcare would be a financial disaster and mortgage the future earnings of my children, grandchildren and great grandchildren while only benefiting those who don’t pay taxes.  Thanks, but no thanks.

More importantly this is showing how much experience does count in the oval office. 3 resignations over scandal and hopefully one more to go. I know I’m reaching on the Geithner resignation and that now it’s no longer a possibility – but a girl can dream! I’m sorry I wouldn’t appoint a convicted criminal of insider trading as the new CFO at a Fortune 500 company. I don’t care if only some people (yes, only some people) think he is a great financial mind to run the Treasury. Are you telling me there was nobody else (NOBODY else) out there that clearly knows and obeys the tax laws with which he would be entrusted to oversee????  Most likely there is but the Obama administration is somehow running on tunnel vision when it comes to their cabinet appointments.
