Ah, Joy, Joy, Joy. My favorite village idiot. Nothing gets me more psyched than Behar getting put in her place. Well, Ann Coulter was recently on CNN with Behar filling in for Larry King (although it wasn’t much of an improvment on the host front).

Joy’s biggest defense in this “debate” with Coulter is “you’re exaggerating. you’re exaggerating.” Forget the fact that everything she says this to Coulter she doesn’t cite facts to back up her accusation of exaggeration. I LURRRRV how Coutler runs circles around Behar. And then when Behar’s jaw is tired from not being able to contribute to the game of talking facts, she drops this gem about Rush’s audience base.

“Oh, 20 million listeners. That doesn’t mean anything to me.”

Ummmm…slap me if I’m wrong, but something tells me that you (aka, liberal twats who are not open to listening to reason, facts and logic) are not his target audience. So it’s okay if it doesn’t mean anything to you since I don’t think Rush is losing any sleep over the fact that THE JOY BEHAR is not concerned with the success of his show. And she accuses him of fillibusting guests on his show. Ummmm – what the @$#@%# do you think you do on The View Crazy Hens Roosting show, Joy????

Anyego, I also love how 20 million people behind Rush isn’t anything but now that same figure behind Obama is now a movement, a force to be reckoned with. I mean, really, either it’s nothing or something – pick one you sad excuse for a talkshow host!

The waiting for Rush Limbaugh to speak at CPAC has finally stopped. And the man was incredible as the main voice of the conservatism movement. It’s amazing how logical and articulate Rush is when the media isn’t lampooning him into a outlandish, cartoonish version of an extremist with their supposed “best political analysts” around. No wonder this man has 20 million listeners a week while CNN is lucky to get 7 million with their journalists ratchet con men.

Let me tell you who we conservatives are: We love people. [Applause] When we look out over the United States of America, when we are anywhere, when we see a group of people, such as this or anywhere, we see Americans. We see human beings. We don’t see groups. We don’t see victims. We don’t see people we want to exploit. What we see — what we see is potential. We do not look out across the country and see the average American, the person that makes this country work. We do not see that person with contempt. We don’t think that person doesn’t have what it takes. We believe that person can be the best he or she wants to be if certain things are just removed from their path like onerous taxes, regulations and too much government.

Booooooooooyah, CNN! What up noooow! So much for Rush’s speech being “all about wanting the President to fail.” I’m waiting for the day the FCC can start fining these “journalists” for outright slander and libel.

First Chris Matthews, (aka Thrill Boy) at MSNBC, shows blatant disrespect while Jindal gives his speech last night.

Then to break the Guinness Book of World Records’ backpedaling best, he showcases this lame-ass excuse (video at via HotAir).

I was taken aback by that peculiar stagecraft, the walking from somewhere in the back of this narrow hall, this winding staircase looming there, the odd anti-bellum look of the scene. Was this some mimicking of a president walking along the state floor to the East Room?

Ohhhh, Nooooo!…windy staircases. Awwww!….narrow hallways. Was Thrill Boy having a faaaaaaaabulous Wizard of Oz moment? Staircase, hallway, anti-bellum, Oh MY!

Please, Thrill Boy just got his ass put in a corner and now he’s just trying to scratch his way out of it with a shred of dignity (if he had any in the first place) left. As Allphapundit said at HotAir…

Thomas Continues To Redefine “Objective Journalism”

Helen Thomas is known for defending her advocacy of the far left agenda as just “being a journalist.” Ooookay, Helen. This is what cracks me up about journalists at the New York Times. Most believe they are in journalism to change the world, but in fact the purpose of a journalist is to be objective, observe and report the facts. And somewhere in their grandiose ego boosting, they tend to loose sight of actually using logic to defend their absurd stances on the issues. Probably because the last time they used logic was on their college applications.

Anyways, here’s Helen defending what she meant when she referred to “so-called terrrorists” during Obama’s media conference last week. Because you know, there’s really no actual terrorists according to Thomas, they’re just misunderstood freedom fighters.

Not surprising but Thomas totally misses the point that most of these “freedom fighters” are not fighting for the freedom of citizens of their own country even. And it’s not for the free will of the country’s citizens, but the right to go back to oppressing those citizens. I’m sorry but when extremists use suicide bombings and conduct mass murders through violence in public areas as a means to further their oppressive religious agenda that is not being a freedom fighter. And when other governments and citizens stand up to fight back against those extremists to prevent further slayings of innocent citizens, that’s doesn’t equate their defensive actions with the violence conducted by those “freedom fighters.” Last time I checked, Uday and Qusay Hussein’s rape rooms under their father’s regime in Iraq were not a means for establishing women’s rights.

Regardless, as a journalist, especially one on the highest national level, it makes Thomas look professionally irresponsible and unethical the more she continues to be an advocate. If she wants to be the PR head honcho for these “so-called terrorists” then go work for a liberal think tank like the Theresa Heinz-Kerry-funded Brookings Institute. Don’t sit on a pedastal of best practices in journalism while going against all objective-based principles of the field.

Helen Thomas Continues To “Grrraaaaaawwwww….”

Yes, that is the sound I imagine Helen Thomas making before she opens her mouth at every press conference. You’ve got to admit it actually sounds better than the biased crap that actually comes out of her mouth. She once said that to be a journalist “you have to be a liberal.” Umm, no Helen, to be a journalist you have to be objective.

During tonight’s press conference, Helen once again proved why she is clearly biased to the far left (via HotAir) and assured me there’s a good reason my political views don’t side with the grainy old witch out of the Hanzel & Gretyl story – yeah, that’s right I went there. Her question was almost the top eye-roll-inducing question of the night, but luckily she got upstaged by “How do you feel about Arod admitting to using roids?” question guy.

And reading the post at HotAir makes me miss Tony Snow – now that was an incredible press secretary. He knew how to handle the press unlike our current fabulous and transparent appointment at secretary. Here’s a glimpse back at being a great press secretary. RIP, Tony!

Republicans Finally Starting to Do the Media’s Job

Good grief – it only took two weeks!But in the Senate Republicans’ defense they only got this bill late last week and the earliest they could have been on the media about porkulus was this weekend. I think the House Republicans should have been screaming from the Capitol’s rooftop about this more but they also have to compete with Barry for coverage. So they could have been trying but ultimately not given the spotlight because the preacher voice was scheduled to make it’s return.

But at least McCain (R-AZ) and Pence (R-IN) are starting to be more vocal in their opposition (via HotAir.com) with logical debate points. On a side note, where was THIS McCain on the campaign trail? I would have liked to seen more of this, but I think he was fighting such a huge uphill battle as is. McCain did warn us in the debates about Obama’s spending habits with example after example of Obama’s history with proposed pork projects. Obama retorted back that he’s a “pay as you go” legislature. Heh.

In the first clip I love how Pence shuts down the commentary on the economist “supporting” the porkulus. Turns out economists are able to change their mind or that some liberal-biased media were trying to skew context to illustrate support where there is none. Is it me or I thought the campaigning/advocacy ended months ago. Honestly, when are the media going to get back to objective, investigative journalism? Or should we start calling Medill School of Journalism at Northwesterm Medill School of PR???

And McCain brings up a good point about what are we going to do when the bill comes due. Passing this down the line to the next generation doesn’t make us a very responsible nation. It’s like how the older generation of politicians put funding of the failed Social Security system on my generation and I don’t know one person my age who speaks favorably about that topic.

So what will our children and grandchildren think of our generation down the line knowing we purposely put them in a corner forcing them to pay off $1 trillion debt we didn’t need??? If it’s to create jobs, I don’t see justifying paying $600,000 – $200,000 per job created, the estimate on the ROI of job creation through this porkulus. That doesn’t make sense even from a business standpoint. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see if this boondoggle extravaganza actually passes.

Is the Honeymoon Already Over? Daaaaaaaaaaayum!

On November 5th one of my Facebook friends and drunk-on-koolaid-Obamamanic tried to scold me “Why don’t you give Obama a break? You keep criticizing him like he’s the next Jimmy Carter.” Ummm, that’s because he is the next Jimmy Carter. It was lovely how he just assumed I hadn’t been researching the candidate and his policies for the entire previous year. I formed my vote by looking at Obama’spolicies and track record in the Senate and Illinois state legislature. Not sure if my FB friend did the same despite his claims.

So imagine my “surprise” when people are starting to not be thrilled with the way Barry’s administration has been going. Oh?? Are you telling me that historic (yet, uninformed and based more on a self-esteem need to feel like you’re a part of making history to trick your mind into thinking that’s the way to give your life meaning) vote no longer is giving you that warm, fuzzy feeling inside. hmmmm…

But look at the media now. After 2 years of serving more like a PR firm instead of objective journalists *cough*CNN*cough* they are starting to give Barry’s administration the questionable stink eye at some of the latest developments. You know like pushing out of control spending, supporting failed economic policies, appointing criminals to the cabinet, whining about having to working on a PC, hiring lobbyists despite campaign sermons about changing Washington, possible involvment in selling a Senate seat, and you know not being the most transparent govt. as they said they would be. Just a few things. Oh but there’s even more.

Dude, and I’m not even doing anything to skew the perception of the behavior of this administration. They’re doing just fine on their own screwing things up in the name of Hope ‘n Change. – Via the Corner from TryingtoGrok.com. I think now I know what shooting fish in a barrel must feel like.

Ashley Judd – Prime Example of Liberal Spin

This week Ashley Judd, “actress” who can’t act her way out of a paper bag and typical ill-informed celebrity activist, released a video with the group EyeonPalin.org to continue perpetuating liberal myths in an attempt to stop short the growing momentum that is Sarah Palin. Here’s the video if you can stomach a few moments of soapbox-induced eye rolls.

I first saw this video on PerezHilton.com, a very popular gossip site. While Perez Hilton is attempting to “inform” his readers it worries me that his 7 million+ readers/day are getting a one-sided view intentionally. But the thing I’ve learned from being a reformed liberal is that far-left propaganda is based on the assumption people will just run with the one-sided shock value and not get the full facts on the entire story. It’s like far-left propagandists expect you to BE STUPID because if you didn’t just listen to their skewed, misguided “facts” then you probably wouldn’t be behind their cause.

To get the facts, check out this article (via HotAir.com). Ed Morrissey has been writing on this for a while and I appreciate his objective presentation on the facts of this topic.

By the way, Palin’s strategy worked. Biologists in the state’s Fish and Game Department estimate that the caribou herds increased to 6500 this year, thanks to the reduced threat from wolves. The birth rate went from one calf per 100 cows to 39 calves per 100 cows, which will help herd growth for the next several years. Another season without the aerial hunt might have wiped out the caribou herds altogether.

Most importantly, this “controversial” initiative was enacted in 2003 (yes, prior to Palin’s term) and was done so to protect many other species – Caribou, Moose, etc. Are somehow wolves more important than the other wildlife? If you’re so opposed to this method, what then can you offer as a more cost-effective means to decrease the wolf population – waiting to catch them with our bare hands? Come on people, be realistic! If Judd wanted to really do a public service she should either get educated on the facts or keep her mouth shut.

Does Lack of FEMA Help Make THIS President Racist?

Right now people in Kentucky are enduring the devastating aftermath of an ice storm that has left more than 1.3 million people without heat and power, as well as 42 fatalities. Yet, there has been a poor FEMA response and no public response from the current administration. Does this make our current president racist? No, but it also means President Bush wasn’t racist when the Katrina victims and LA/NO politicians didn’t get their own acts together with the ample amount of prep time they were given.

Via Black & Right, Bob Parks has been following this developing story and properly calls out the media and Bush’s critics *cough*KayneWest*cough* for their convenient case of tunnel vision when it comes to matters of FEMA and U.S. citizens who are victims of NATURAL disasters.

The very people who hated George W. Bush and his FEMA leadership, are turning their adoring heads away from a tragic situation because they don’t involve their favorite black victims, but “ordinary people” who aren’t as sympathetic to them. This coverage is a sham, the FEMA response is suspect, and our president’s conduct will be remembered by the people of the mid-South (whose votes he won’t need anyway).
