I’ve said for years that both Medicare and Social Security need to start to be tapered off.  If anyone my age is found to be dependent on Medicare and Social Security when we are 60+ then SHAME.ON.THEM. These are welfare programs and they need to be stopped. People should be more responsible for the future instead of focusing how they can spend every penny they earn on frivolous things like big screen TVs, iPods/iPhones and navigation systems in cars.

The structure of Medicare will be our country’s demise if we continue with its structure just as you see in companies like GM or other pension or insurance-promised-at-retirement company benefits. Those companies that offer these types of programs are in real financial danger – WHY? Because they don’t understand that as more people are added to the benefit pool it takes even more workers or input of revenue to support those programs.  If you can’t keep up the pace to maintain the profit/loss balance, then your program becomes detrimental to the entire operational structure. It’s similar to a building falling apart from the inside out.

Ahhh…but see what happens when you actually break down the ponzi scheme schematic of Medicare. People, even those who benefit from the social entitlement, start to think ‘Yeah, maybe that’s not a good idea.’

Too bad their too busy thinking ‘How’s it gonna benefit MEEEEEEEEEE!’ to have put a stop to this before.
