dunce1Robert Gibbs’ performance as Press Secretary is like a big freaking train wreck. And we can’t get enough of staring in jaw-dropped fashion. Here’s the latest where he is reacting to the Chicago Tea Party footage on CNBC with Rick Santelli (via HotAir). Amusing to me that Gibbs spends more time lecturing conservative columnists for showing criticism than actually answering any freakin’ questions. Because you know, being Press Secretary isn’t about fully explaining in a transparent fashion the questions of the media so that in turn the media has all the facts to objectively report on them to the public.

Gibbs talks about journalists on cable televsion being responsible and to know what they are talking about. Not surprising, Gibbs just singles out conservative commentators and somehow has forgotten how many times he NEVER called out CNN anchors for being misleading. Talk about it being hypocritical.

Anyhypocrite, Gibbs also seems to miss the fact that it’s smart to be questionable and not accept everything in government with a blind eye. Wasn’t it him and his Obamaniacs that were arguing against an imperial-style executive branch and that citizens have a right to question the actions of their government? gibbs_huh1Now all of a sudden since they’ve got the high chair citizens questioning the plans of the government aren’t allowed to do so??? How are they supposed to “get their facts straight” when the administration, especially the Press Secretary, refuse to provide transparency that leave no questions unanswered?

I think we learned enough from the citizen’s 60-70% disapproval rating of the porkulus that it’s probably not a good idea to just pass things through and wave off critics who are just representing the concerns of average, responsible citizens.
