Latin American leaders gathered this past weekend to hold the Fifth Summit of the Americas in Trinidad and Tobago. Needless to say it has the greatest display of maturity among ego-maniacs that are certified insane. Basically it was a continuation of Obama’s “Yes, Sir, May I have Another” Foreign Groveling Policy (via Sarah from Neal Boortz)

The first leftist thug up to bat was the president of Bolivia Evo Morales. He took this occasion to accuse the United States of orchestrating a plot to assassinate him. That’s always a good way to start things off … being put on the defensive by an anti-capitalist, radical socialist. We are talking about a man whose first order of business was to hang a portrait of Che Guevara in his presidential suite. Seriously.

Yes, you read that right. The “peace” festivities kicked off like a group of disagreeing teenage girlfriends in the guidance counselor’s office.

“Mr. Geist, US is like totally like being mean. She totally said things that threatened me and I like totally did nothing wrong like.”

Okay, Evo…don’t take all the getting your panties in a twist moment. Princess Hugo’s got have a turn. You know, the Marie Antoinette of Venezuela who’s literally nationalized OH! and bankrupted every industry in his country he can get his nubbin’ digits on. But he and Obama are now like totally BFF (best friends 4-eva!)

 And since Obama and Hugo are now buds, Chavez decided that he wanted to present Obama with a token of his love. He couldn’t have waited until after the summit. Or sent it with a Christmas card. Sitting at the table during talks, Chavez thought that it would be a great time to walk over and publicly present Obama with a copy of Eduardo Galeano’s The Open Veins of Latin America; Five Centuries of the Pillage of a Continent. This is the Latin American Bible explaining why capitalism and countries, like the United States, are responsible for the state of Latin America. Clearly, this was a symbolic move to undermine the president and the United States.

A book on how the evil US is responsible for Latin America’s failing economic opportunity and not its own oppressive, communist dictators? Heh. I totally thought it was going to be a pair of buddy bands a la Saved by The Bell. I mean they are only $3.95 and we’re in a world recession, people! Plus, they work – Albert Clifford guarantees it.

But oh, not so fast girlfriends. It ain’t all kisses and forgiveness just yet. Mizzz Daniel Ortega gotta have her chance to showboat. Go on girl wit yo’ bad self.

Perhaps the most embarrassing moment was the 50-minute diatribe Obama endured from Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega…I can sum it up for you pretty quickly: capitalism is evil and the US is responsible for the plight of the Americas. He used phrases like “terroristic US aggression” and “suffocating US economic policies.” He describes Cuba as a country “whose crime has been that of fighting for independence, fighting for sovereignty of the peoples.” And rather than stand up for his country, Obama simply thanked Ortega for not blaming him personally for things that happened when Obama was young. That’s it?? Poor Ronald Reagan is rolling in his grave.

Thanks, President Unicorn Princess, for needlessly again taking one in the kisser “for us.” I know some people are going to say “Ummm, how DARE you. This is about cooperation with the world. We shouldn’t say America is #1. Blah. Blah”

Here’s my response – Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaw…Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw. Boo freakin’ hoo, dude.

This is the deal. Obama is President of the United States. And no US leader, including Bush despite the Daily Kos rantings, has ever said “We got spirit yes we do, we got spirit, how about you! We’ve got the MOST! We’ve got the MOST!” So please, liberals, get off of that high inaccuracy horse of yours before it starts bucking you off from getting spooked by logic and facts.

This is a multi-national summit among world leaders, not a lovefest for the crazy wing in the dictators’ mental ward. Taking the higher road doesn’t mean just sitting there and letting immature, maniacal dictators who oppress their own people carry on with degrading diatribes that reek of nutjob conspiracy smears instead of factual evidence. This should be a summit where leaders set the example of maturity and outlining parameters which will foster economic growth for all nations involved, and persuade dictators like Mizz Chavez to start treating its own people with respect.

Unfortunately, instead of a leader Obama’s lack of backbone was our representation at this world summit as at the G-20 summit. The least some citizens could do would be to start acknowledging these huge, consequential missteps by our self-proclaimed-but-all-evidence-to-the-contrary-”Ready From Day 1″-leader extraordinaire.
