No, Obama Administration, it’s not exactly that simple. It was highly suspected that once the Unicorn & Ponies Administration took office the public would no longer hear the words “terrorists” from government officials in order to appease their far-left agenda and supporters.

On Jan. 20th we were told by Obama (who really stole it from Bush) that we will not apologize for our way of life here in America to the outside world. Oh, how quickly things change once the national stage is put away and Bono is done serenading the nation in glorious celebration.

Here’s the latest interview from the new head of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano, with German Magazine Der Spiegel (via NewsBusters)

SPIEGEL: Madame Secretary, in your first testimony to the US Congress as Homeland Security Secretary you never mentioned the word “terrorism.” Does Islamist terrorism suddenly no longer pose a threat to your country?

NAPOLITANO: Of course it does. I presume there is always a threat from terrorism. In my speech, although I did not use the word “terrorism,” I referred to “man-caused” disasters. That is perhaps only a nuance, but it demonstrates that we want to move away from the politics of fear toward a policy of being prepared for all risks that can occur.

Only a nuance? WTF! No a nuance is me calling you a great leader for our national security, Janet - Miss Jackson if you’re nasty!

I’m sorry, when terrorists (yes, TERRORISTS. Not freedom fighters, misunderstood renegades, or “man-made” disaster advocates) run three planes (and possibly 4) into structures that are chosen to kill the most Americans possible they automatically lose my respect to be politically correct in what we refer to them as. In fact I think terrorists and terrorism is putting it quite nicely. If I thought about it really hard for literally two seconds, I’d bet a million dollars I could come up with some more appropriate language.

I’m so tired of hearing about the “politics of fear” or being a “citizen of the world.” These are just ways for the far-left liberal agenda to further isolate Americans, all the while their dialogue is disguised as an unattainable ideology that really will never exist in reality. Life lesson of the day – you can’t make everyone happy!

Let’s move away from the Jimmy Carter – terrorists are just misunderstood and are really nice people – thought process and focus on keeping our citizens safe. If you open up a history book, you’ll learn that’s what got us into this mess in the first place. This isn’t a situation of we’ll play nice and the terrorists will no longer be terrorists. Umm, that happened in the Clinton Administration when we had at least six attacks on US soil and US entities abroad and look where that lead us – 9/11.

You know, people on the right don’t support gloom and doom, but at least we are realistic about the dangers in the world. It’s like when parents just assume their kids will be virgins forever and don’t bother talking responsibly to their kids about sex, precautions, and emotional balance intercourse affects among those who aren’t ready to have it. Then they act surprised when Suzie Q comes home pregnant. Just assume it’s going to happen. Express that you want them to take every precaution not to make it happen, like abstinence, protection, etc., but acknowledge that your ideal is most likely not the reality.

The same logic – I know, that craaaaaaaaazy thing called logic – plays into this. Yes, let’s try to work with countries to minimize the influence of jihadists/extremists, but let’s also acknowledge that terrorism still is a very prevalant threat in this world and that we as a nation want our citizens to be alerted, not kept in the dark, about this startling, yet true fact.
